W-Industries Awarded Contract by GE Grid Solutions for Venture Global Plaquemines LNG Project
W-Industries Electrification Division (formerly Volta, LLC) has been awarded a key contract for the Venture Global Plaquemines LNG Project by GE Grid Solutions. The contract covers the engineering, procurement, and construction of a bespoke GIS Electrical Equipment, Protection and Control building that will be installed at the Plaquemines LNG export facility in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

Venture Global Plaquemines LNG, LLC is developing an LNG export facility in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, approximately 20 miles south of New Orleans. When fully developed, Plaquemines LNG will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year.
